METABOLOMICS
Finding your way through complex metabolic pathways
We provide a targeted and untargeted approach for a wide range of metabolites present in your samples using triple quadrupole, Q-TOF or Orbitrap mass spectrometry.
We include the necessary sample preparation steps prior to analysis, such as precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, solid-phase extraction, derivatization.
We apply state-of-the-art gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE) methodologies to tackle the diverse physicochemical properties of metabolites (polar, apolar, volatile, non-volatile, etc.). If methods are not available yet, we go back to the drawing board and develop the method from scratch and verify its performance.
We annotate metabolites using an in-house built accurate mass retention time (AMRT) or retention time locked (RTL) library which is continuously being updated with new entries.
We perform metabolomics experiments with project-specific QC samples guaranteeing validity of results.
We follow a rigorous and established game plan that helps define the right questions and determine which data will provide the answers.
